Permagreen Operators Manual

I need some help determining the proper mix rate for Elminate LO in my Permagreen Magnum spray tank. Eliminate LO label says to apply at 1.1 - 1.5 oz per 1,000 square feet The PG manual chart says to use 4.69 oz of product per gallon if the product is to be applied at 1.1oz per 1,000 sq.ft. Seem simple enough, right? Until you start mixing 56oz in a 12 gallon tank. That just seems like a lot of product in only 12 gallons of water. Is anyone mixing spray product according to the chart in their Permagreen manual and getting expected results? Thanks in advance for your help.

Forget what the manual says - Calibrate, calibrate, calibrate. Then laminate your own chart and stick it to the tank. I am putting down 42 oz/K with a PG centri but going a little less than full speed (4th gear) so the mixture doesn't have to be as hot. I get a 7 foot swath and if my product is 1.5oz/k I'm adding like 36 oz in my 8 gal tank so your probably not that far off but just make sure of your output first. It only takes 30 minutes or so to test it and well worth saving a lawn from total failure.
Excessive and/or irregular wear is the most common end result.
